Overview

Project Specialist - QA - Bilingual in Spanish Required. Birmingham, AL - Open to Remote.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

This position will focus on improving the quality of our health coaching engagement through training, support, and collaboration with health advisors. There will also be a focus on monitoring and improving the member experience through avenues other than health coaching.

Pay Range: $75,000+ per yearSalary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and help develop health advisors coaching skills through one-on-one meetings and specialized training.
  • Listen to health coaching calls giving thorough feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop resources for coaching supervisors to help them work with coaches on common struggles of new and existing health coaches.
  • Engage a small number of members in health coaching to maintain coaching skills and have relevant insight to the coaching experience.
  • Select calls to share with clients in calibration calls then collect and distribute client feedback to coaching staff.
  • Develop project specific training based on feedback from clients or trends noticed in coaching staff's performance.
  • Monitor member feedback to ensure a high level of member satisfaction and intervene when there is a poor member experience.
  • Monitor and review data reports on key performance indicators for critical projects to ensure a high level of member engagement.
  • Assist in review and optimization of project specific member facing materials.
  • May need to work weekends, religious and/or legal holidays
  • May be required to work as necessary during disaster situations.
  • Must have regular attendance and reporting on time to work is a requirement of the position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience as a health coach and/or in an adjacent needed field for the specific position available.
  • 3-5 years' experience with diabetes patients.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Mentoring or skills development experience preferred

Knowledge:

  • Proficient at hosting video conferencing via Zoom, experience with multiple virtual meeting platforms preferred.

Skills:

  • Aptitude to learn new technological skills quickly.
  • Must be able to prioritize work responsibilities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Independently motivated with proven ability to follow through on initiatives.
  • Critical reasoning when evaluating someone's performance in health coaching.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments in an organization.
  • Demonstrates a high energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style.
  • Flexibility to deliver training in all formats: classroom, online, synchronous, asynchronous.
  • Proven problem-solving and follow up skills, with the ability to develop appropriate resolutions to improve deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to respect people of all backgrounds and act ethically.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree required, Master degree preferred.
  • Biligual in Spanish, fluency test required.

LICENSE CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certified diabetes care and education specialist preferred.
  • National Board for health and wellness coaching certification preferred.
