In this role, you will provide expert instruction and support to individuals seeking to enhance their skills in Microsoft Excel. Our ideal candidates should possess advanced proficiency in Excel, along with a strong understanding of how to teach complex concepts in an understandable and engaging manner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions focusing on advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, and data analysis tools.
- Assess the skill levels of students and tailor your teaching approach to meet their specific needs and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and training materials that cover advanced Excel topics effectively.
- Utilize hands-on exercises and real-world examples to enhance practical understanding of advanced Excel features.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Stay updated with the latest Excel features and provide insights on best practices for effective spreadsheet management.
- Encourage a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their goals.
- Respond to students’ inquiries and provide additional resources as needed for further learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel features with relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel) preferred.
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring Excel, particularly at an advanced level.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
