Clinical Trials Business Development Representative

This role supports our Business Development team in building and expanding the sites network as well promotes and supports attracting new projects for Milestone One.

In this role, you will

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with Investigators and Medical Institutions representatives as well as with Milestone One existing and potential clients (sponsors and CROs).
  • Support our efforts with active promotion of Milestone One brand by acquiring new clinics and building a network of sites.
  • Conduct research on potential clients to build extended network.
  • Set up meetings with Investigators, pharmaceutical and CRO companies' representatives to present business opportunities and benefits of cooperation with Milestone One.
  • Assist the Marketing team in preparation of promotional materials.
  • Attend medical/pharmaceutical conferences, and training workshops as required.

Education: College or university degree, life science is a plus.

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within the clinical trials industry.
  • Experience dealing with medical institutions and physicians or as a site manager working on site.
  • Previous experience in business development, building relationships with sites, clients, or as a sales representative within the healthcare or clinical trials industry.
  • Excellent ability to analyze customer data, interpret industry trends, respond to bids, create proposals and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player capable of managing time efficiently and working independently.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, truly understand their challenges and proactively propose solutions.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Fluent use of English and German language
  • General understanding of the clinical trial process, requirements, and regulations.
  • Excellent sales skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving and result oriented
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Valid category B driver’s license
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Internet research.
