JOB OVERVIEW
Prometric is seeking a Finance Project Management Intern will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of financial projects, ensuring that they align with company objectives and financial goals. This role will provide an opportunity to learn how financial projects are managed from start to finish, allowing you to contribute directly to project success while gaining valuable exposure to the financial operations of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in organizing and tracking finance-related projects, including preparing project timelines, coordinating meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support the team in creating and tracking project budgets, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring the proper allocation of resources.
- Assist in analyzing financial data, including project costs, financial forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to ensure projects stay within scope and budget.
- Help prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing project progress, financial performance, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in identifying financial risks related to projects and helping to develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, and business stakeholders) to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities to improve project management processes and financial workflows.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and project management teams, including maintaining project documentation and tracking project milestones.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of financial software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
