This position plays a pivotal role in managing projects that enhance technological innovation and operational excellence in the banking industry.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project management, from initiation to execution and delivery, ensuring that all project objectives align with the broader goals of the organization. This role requires adept leadership skills and the ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality results within budget and on schedule.
- Develop detailed project plans and track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
- Act as the main point of contact and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to assess progress and address any challenges promptly.
- Prepare and present project reports, detailing project status and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- A solid track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Greek is an advantage.
