The Role
At Presidio, the Senior Manager of Travel & Expense will be responsible for the administration of the Concur application, ensuring it aligns with the company's travel and expense policies. This role involves managing Concur integration, handling and maintaining approval workflows, resolving export errors, and maintaining accurate General Ledger and workflow updates. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial skills, experience in high-transaction volume environments, and expertise in travel related policy and process optimization.
Responsibilities Include:
- Concur Administration:
- Oversee the integration and ongoing management of the Concur application.
- Ensure Concur processes comply with travel and expense policies.
- Resolve export errors and manage project closures within Concur.
- Update maintain chart of accounts’ GL strings in Concur.
- Address employee import errors and manage request approvals through Concur.
- Handle IT exception lists and delegate approver access within Concur.
- Manage budget adjustments and spend by Area
- Update email addresses for IPR notifications and handle budget exceptions in Concur.
- Generate monthly JMF reports and manage Cognos intelligence reports related to Concur data.
- Oversee IT employee permissions and payroll gift card distributions through Concur.
- Corporate Card Management:
- Administer global corporate card programs, including Travel and Expense cards and Purchasing cards.
- Supervise offshore teams and automate card requests.
- Implement virtual card programs and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with travel providers.
- Process Improvement and Compliance:
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within Concur.
- Conduct rigorous compliance reviews and reduce expense report delinquency through Concur.
- Ensure timely payment processing and manage end-to-end accounts payable processes.
- Transition payments to electronic methods and prepare month-end journal entries.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Produce reports from accounts payable data for weekly metrics and internal purposes.
- Utilize Cognos / Data Warehouse for intelligence reporting and manage auto-generated reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders and resolve ServiceNow tickets.
Required Skills and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business administration or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in managing accounting, travel and expense services, accounts payable, corporate card programs etc.
- Strong managerial skills in a high-transaction volume, global environment.
- Proficiency in Concur, ServiceNow, PowerBI, UKG.
- Excellent communication, project management, and customer service skills.
- Experience with global corporate card programs.
- Proven track record of process improvement and policy compliance.
