This highly autonomous, externallyfacing role is ideal for someone who knows the mining, aggregates, and heavyindustrial landscape inside and out, and who thrives on building somethingmeaningful from the ground up. TheOpportunity

Reportingto the Head of Strategy, Growth & Innovation, the Senior BusinessDevelopment Lead (North America) will lead RCR’s regional business developmentstrategy across Canada and the USA.

Thisrole is responsible for building market presence, developing key customer andEPCM relationships, and progressing complex, long-lead commercial opportunitiesacross mining, aggregates, and materials handling sectors. You’ll act as theface of RCR in North America, representing the brand with credibility,technical confidence, and commercial acumen.

Therole is remote and location-flexible within Canada or the United States, withproximity to a major industry hub (e.g., Western Canada, Vancouver, Arizona, orsimilar) considered an asset. Extensive travel (approximately 50%) is expected.

KeyResponsibilities:

RegionalStrategy & Market Development

  • LeadRCR’s North American business development strategy in alignment with globalgrowth objectives.
  • Identifypriority markets, customers, and opportunities across mining, aggregates, andmaterials handling.
  • Providemarket intelligence, competitor insights, and trend analysis to informstrategic decision-making.

Customer& Stakeholder Engagement

  • Buildand sustain deep, trust-based relationships with customers, EPCMs, and industrypartners.
  • RepresentRCR at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
  • EstablishRCR as a credible, long-term partner in the North American market.

OpportunityDevelopment & Sales Leadership

  • Qualify,develop, and progress opportunities from early engagement through tendering andnegotiation.
  • Collaborateclosely with RCR’s Australian-based sales, engineering, and technical teams todeliver compelling proposals.
  • Maintaindisciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

Technical& Commercial Credibility

  • Engageconfidently with engineering, operational, and executive stakeholders ontechnical and commercial matters.
  • Translatecustomer requirements into solutions aligned with RCR’s products andcapabilities.
  • Facilitateeffective collaboration between customers and RCR subject matter experts.

Collaboration& Governance

  • Partnerwith the Head of Strategy, Growth & Innovation on go-to-market strategy,pricing, and regional priorities.
  • Provideregular reporting on pipeline development, risks, opportunities, and insights.
  • Contributeto organizational learning by sharing customer feedback and industryintelligence.

Requirements

AboutYou

Youare a senior business development leader with a strong industry reputation andan established North American network. You’re commercially sharp, technicallycredible, and motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful ratherthan chase quick wins.

You Bring:

  • Aproven track record in business development or sales leadership within mining,aggregates, materials handling, or heavy industrial markets.
  • Deeprelationships across operators, EPCMs, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Experienceprogressing complex, long-lead, capital equipment opportunities.
  • Strongcommercial judgement, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Theability to work autonomously across geographies while collaborating effectivelywith global teams.
  • Aleadership style grounded in integrity, curiosity, and long-term partnership.
  • Experiencewith global OEMs or major industry suppliers (e.g., Metso, FLSmidth, McLanahan,ThyssenKrupp) is considered an asset.

Compensation& Benefits

RCR anticipates offering the successful candidate abase salary ofapproximately $180,000, plus avariable incentivecomponenttied to agreed-upon commercial objectives. Thetotal compensation package is expected to be highly competitive and reflectiveof the seniority, autonomy, and impact of the role.

Additionalbenefits include a company vehicle or vehicle allowance (depending on thesuccessful candidate’s circumstances), fully expensed travel, corporate creditcard, four weeks of vacation, personal leave, and flexibility in how and wherework is performed.
