Job Summary:
At PosiGen, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team to support the Channel Partner business unit. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will be responsible for creating and conducting manual and automated test suites for new and existing features. You should be comfortable working in an agile development environment and have experience with agile methodologies.You will have the opportunity to shape best practices and the future of QA for our channel partner platform.

Essential Job Functions
- Work closely with engineering, product, and design across our fullstack and Salesforce teams to ensure our products meets the highest standards
- Create comprehensive QA plans and manage their execution
- Conduct manual hands-on testing for our product
- Develop and maintain automated test suite
- Identify, isolate, and report bugs in new feature development
- Manage project timelines and release schedules as it relates to QA
- Verify and reproduce, customer-reported bugs and escalations
- Aid in prioritization and communication of issues between customers, products, and engineering
Required
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of Software QA experience crafting, maintaining, and carrying out test plans
- 3+ years of programming experience, preferably in scripting and automated testing
- Experience with Salesforce platform
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
- Experience crafting test reporting dashboards and reports, enabling seamless status reporting to multi-functional partners
- Experience identifying automation requirements and crafting solutions to address test execution challenges
- Experience diagnosing and debugging complex systems
- Enjoys working in a dynamic environment that is evolving and may be demanding at times
- Proactive, take initiative, and work collaboratively
- Experience with ticket tracking systems
Desired
- Worked with automation test tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress
- Have experience with project management
- Have experience working closely with operations teams
- Experience handling sensitive customer data and logs
- Experience in residential solar
