Life insurance is a $1T industry that has remained largely unchanged for decades, and we are in the process of changing that.PolicyMe is looking to expand into additional insurance product lines and additional markets. To help lead this growth, PolicyMe is seeking a motivated VP or Director of Insurance to join our team! We are open to either a VP or Director-level role, based on experience.As a subject matter expert for our products, you will play a pivotal role in developing and ensuring the success of insurance products. This is an opportunity to truly own something from beginning to end, building and supporting products that will be used by a large customer base and truly change the way that customers buy insurance. What you'll be doing:

User-Centric Product Development: Spearhead the creation of innovative insurance products through extensive user research. Identify and integrate features that resonate with consumers, owning redefining the design and delivery of insurance products.
Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Own crafting and implementing Go-To-Market strategies for new products, focusing on market potential and revenue generation. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to strategically position our products in a competitive landscape.
Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize cutting-edge analytics to identify market trends, anticipate customer behaviors, and shape product strategies. Ensure our products are not only competitive but also set new industry standards.
Strategic Pricing and Bundling: Support our insurance carrier partners in performing in-depth pricing analysis to develop innovative pricing models and bundling strategies. Align these with customer needs and market opportunities to enhance product appeal and maximize revenue.
Insurance Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on our insurance offerings. Provide essential guidance and strategic insights to Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborative Product Roadmap Development: Work alongside insurance carrier partners and senior leadership to establish and evolve a visionary product roadmap.

What We Are Looking For:

Must Have Strong Life Insurance Industry Experience: You possess a comprehensive understanding of the life and health insurance landscape, backed by considerable experience in the industry. You're adept at managing the full lifecycle of life and health insurance products, showcasing your deep sector knowledge.
Strategy and execution: You are someone who can come up with the strategy but also execute on it. As a nimble team, you will be in charge of both components.
Proven Problem-Solving Skills: You excel at structuring ambiguous problems and transforming ideas into actionable projects, from concept to deployment. Your problem-solving abilities enable you to navigate complex challenges effectively.
Exceptional collaboration skills: You have high emotional intelligence and can "be the glue" between many different stakeholders in the organization.
Strong Communication Skills: You possess the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and adjust your communication to diverse audiences. Skilled in leading conversations and listening, you're adept at managing stakeholder expectations and seeking assistance when necessary.
Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with data analysis, you have the ability to structure data and conduct insightful analyses to inform key decisions.
Technical Curiosity: While a technical background isn't required, a natural curiosity about technical aspects and a willingness to delve into complex topics are valued.
