Our risk scorecards and credit strategy logic are housed within a flexible and modern infrastructure, enabling us to make precise and accurate decisions on millions of customers and transactions.

Credit Risk Analyst will be a key member of the risk team with responsibility to execute credit processes & reviews to ensure delivery on credit loss target while managing customer experience and channel partner optics. This role will report directly to the Credit Risk Manager.

As one of the founding members of the Credit Risk Team you will have the unique opportunity to design and build amazing credit operations processes from ground level up and contribute to the organization's value proposition within a rapidly growing financial technology start-up environment.

Key responsibilities

This is a full-time, fully remote position. In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of day-to-day credit analysis of new and existing customers on the platform as per procedures.
  • Identify any improvements to our current procedure and coordinate refinements to minimize credit loss while optimizing the customer experience.
  • Provide feedback regarding active trends and observations from reviewed cases which creates a strong feedback loop to enhance our credit strategy.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively by balancing high productivity, sense of urgency and delivering quality decisions on applications reviewed.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of credit evaluation principles with 3-5 years of experience in credit operations especially with decisioning of new credit product applications.
  • Comfortable with all aspects of financial and data analysis as well as with providing concise written and oral summaries of findings to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using SQL for data retrieval and manipulations.
  • Strong attention to detail & ability to make decisions with confidence.
  • Experience within consumer/corporate/small business lending, payments, card or related industries.
  • Ability to multitask, establish priorities with an attention to detail in a fast-changing environment.
  • Collaborative spirit and relational work style with proven operating success in a diverse team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
