Position Description:

PingWind is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This role requires advanced programming expertise, leadership in technical problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Senior Software Developer provides mentorship to junior developers, contributes to software architecture decisions, and ensures that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business or mission requirements.

Responsibilities:

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications in alignment with organizational needs.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Apply secure coding standards and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Lead development efforts on complex projects and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and project managers to shape technical direction.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
  • Partner with QA, DevOps, and systems engineering teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and DevOps pipelines.
  • Integrate software components and third-party applications into existing systems.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with security requirements, data protection policies, and coding standards.
  • Support audits, testing, and certification efforts when required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proven track record of leading development efforts on enterprise or mission-critical applications.
