We develop next-generation adaptive optics (AO) systems for microscopy and other imaging and beam-shaping applications. Our focus is on creating scalable, easy-to-use solutions by combining innovative hardware with software, all centered around our Deformable Phase Plate (DPP) technology.

On the products side, we build refractive, camera-port-based and plug-and-play AO solutions designed to improve aberration correction and imaging workflow. For example, our PHI platform is described as a plug-and-play adaptive optics solution for microscopes featuring a transmissive wavefront modulator at the pupil plane and an integrated tunable lens for remote focusing. We also offer products that automate aspects of aberration finding and correction, and we support use cases across life science & microscopy, vision science & ophthalmology, and material science & semiconductors.
