Position Overview:

As the Chief Financial Officer at Luupli, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and managing relationships with our investors. You will ensure our financial health, foster investor confidence, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. This role demands a seasoned finance professional with a keen understanding of the tech and social media sectors, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving positive social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Management:

Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support Luupli’s growth and mission.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Manage financial risks and opportunities to maximize organizational sustainability.

Investor Relations:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors.

Develop and deliver compelling investment narratives that align with Luupli’s vision and mission.

Coordinate investor communications, including regular updates, reports, and presentations.

Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing pitch materials, and managing due diligence processes.

Strategic Leadership:

Partner with the executive team to shape and execute the company’s strategic goals.

Provide financial insights and analysis to inform decision-making and drive business performance.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships as needed.

Represent Luupli at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings.

Team Leadership:

Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Foster a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Ensure alignment of the finance team’s goals with the broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the tech or social media industry.

Demonstrated success in investor relations and fundraising.

Strong understanding of financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote working environment.

In the first six weeks of the role, the Chief Financial Officer will:

Create detailed financial models to support the company’s growth and fundraising efforts.

Prepare compelling pitch decks for both pre-seed and seed fundraising rounds, highlighting Luupli’s vision, mission, and market potential.

Collaborate with the executive team to ensure all materials accurately reflect the company’s goals and value proposition.
