About the role
We are now offering a unique opportunity for an outcome-driven Senior Business Analyst with technical experience with Payments System integration & Compliance projects, Financial Crimes. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to provide end-to-end ownership of requirements and user stories whilst coordinating and supporting problem solving activities that promote customer centric intuitive solutions. You will work collaboratively with business representatives, Scrum masters, Product Owners, and technology leads to add value and drive outcomes across the business. Furthermore, as a Business Analyst, you will actively contribute to the Community of Practice maturity across the team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining the payments and cards solution that for People First Bank
- Applying your knowledge of Australian banking regulations to satisfy our regulatory obligations
- Collaborating with design and frontline teams to understand problems our customers are experiencing.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to facilitate and support new and in-flight initiatives in ideation, discovery and delivery execution.
- Proven ability to successfully engage with business and technical stakeholders conduct scoping activities, creation of key story/requirements, customer reporting and process changes to understand the rationale for change and desired outcomes.
- Identifying risks, interdependencies and cross-functional business and technology impacts.
- Supporting the business with designing reporting and dashboards that will feed to downstream data and technology teams.
About you
You are a Senior Business Analyst with solid experience delivering technical Payments, Cards and Fraud integration and compliance projects.
Additionally, it’s essential that you have experience with one or more of the following:
- Experience in requirements management, utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Process analysis and documentation.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Customer centric Agile software development.
- Technical integration experience.
- In-depth understanding of IT Risk frameworks
- Solid technical ability in JIRA, and Confluence.
- SAFe or scrum certification.
- Completion of Analyst Certification such as BABOK, Lean Six Sigma is high regarded.
