About the role

Join our Sales team based in Western Cape, where you'll play a key role in promoting Paxton products, driving new business and growing existing accounts. You'll engage with installers, end-users and consultants, building strong relationships to drive product demand.

  • Collaborate with installers, end users and consultants via our distributors to expand our customer base and generate a demand for Paxton products.
  • Engage in regular customer visits to grow customer relationships and support demand generation.
  • Maintain our CRM database by keeping customer profiles and information up-to-date.
  • Producing and recording meeting reports for all business meetings via our CRM database.
  • Deliver commercial and installation training to distributors and installers where required.
  • Pro-actively manage your Outlook calendar with a two-week call plan.
  • Capture potential project opportunities with customers and record information appropriately.
  • Build relationships across the business to identify and develop sales opportunities and utilise Paxton HQ resources.
  • Collaborate with distributor sales teams and account managers to align on strategy and develop productive relationships.
  • Maintain regular communication with your manager and proactively prepare for annual appraisals and quarterly reviews.
  • Covering the Gauteng province region.

What are we looking for?

  • Ambition, a target driven mindset, and a strong motivation to succeed.
  • Previous sales experience in a field-based role, ideally within Security or similar industry, with a proven track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • To be based in the Western Cape and able to commit to travel in and around the region.
