What You’ll Do:
- Design ML orchestration pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support our enterprise machine learning systems at scale;
- Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies on both the front-end and back-end to solve problems in maintainable ways;
- Design and document changes and additions to the architecture of our application platform;
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and systems infrastructure teams;
- Drive and uphold high engineering standards and promote code quality by ensuring software is adequately reviewed, tested, and integrated;
- Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of our machine learning systems
- Support model development, with an emphasis on audibility, versioning, and reproducibility
- Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems
What You'll Need
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or foreign degree equivalent
- 1-4 years of software engineering experience with Python or any object-oriented programming language. A background in Machine Learning is not required!
- Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open source tools
- Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.
Beneficial Experience:
- Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments
- Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer (or equivalent)
- Experience working with cloud computing and database systems
- Familiarity with data workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g., KubeFlow, Airflow).
