Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Technical Consultant, Aviation Special Projects to join our team! In this role you will get to provide expertise on a number of airport projects. This is a part-time, on-call role providing specialized knowledge, when needed, on various airport projects in North America.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Advise and consult airports on capital project definition
- Advise and consult regarding project grants and funding
- Advise project delivery teams for FAA requirements
- Support airport planning projects
- Liaise with FAA
- Participate in development and management of capital aviation projects
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- 20+ years of experience working on active airports
- Minimum of 15 years managing projects
- Extensive knowledge of FAA technical requirements
- In-depth knowledge of FAA funding mechanisms
- Requires the ability to travel to project sites as needed
