Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. **This position is located in Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) *NO REMOTE WORK**
What You'll Be Doing:
Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Implement and maintain routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF DMVPN, Multicast, SNMP, IPSec.
Configure Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enhance network security.
Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to network devices.
Manage and configure COMSEC devices, including Taclanes (KG175D, KG250s).
Oversee the configuration and maintenance of IPS 250 devices.
Implement and manage PALO Firewalls, with a focus on Palo Altos.
Implement Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) to ensure secure data transfer.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology with 3+ years of Network Engineer experience, or an Associate's degree with 5+ relevant work experience may be considered or 10+ years relevant military experience in lieu of any degree.
CCNA certification
ESS (Trellix) and SIEM (Splunk/SolarWinds) experience
In-depth knowledge of EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols DMVPN, Multicast, SNMP, IPSec
Experience configuring ACLs and applying STIGs
Familiarity with COMSEC devices, Taclanes (KG175D, KG250s), and IPS 250
Proficiency managing PALO Firewalls
Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
