Systems Analyst / Product Solutions Specialist – Energy Management
Location:Remote (Up to 30–40% Travel)
About the Role
Parsons is seeking a talentedSystems Analyst / Product Solutions Specialistto join our growing Energy Management team. In this role, you will work with our nation-leadingOperational Data IntegrationandDemand Responseproducts that help utilities, grid operators, and large customers manage energy use more efficiently.
You will be responsible forinstalling, configuring, and supportingour energy management solutions for customers across the country. This is aremote positionwith30–40% travel, depending on project and client needs.
What You’ll Do
Implement & Support Energy Management Solutions
- Install and configure energy management, demand response, and control system software for customers (remote and on-site).
- Translate customer needs into clearbusiness use casesand system configuration requirements.
- Work with the implementation team totest and validate configurationsand integrations.
- PerformCustomer System Acceptance Teststo confirm the system is working as expected.
- Conduct regularHealth Checkson active systems to identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Provide advanced support to resolve technical and integration issues.
Train & Support Customers
- Delivertraining sessionsfor end users and administrators on how to use the systems effectively.
- Assist Sales and Account teams by setting up and supportingproduct demosand proof-of-concept environments.
- PerformQA testingon demo environments, new releases, and upgrades.
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with integrators, developers, project managers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor feedback and trends from customers and partners to help improve programs and products.
- Help resolve customer escalations and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Share best practices and insights with internal teams to improve processes and solutions.
Contribute to Energy & Efficiency Programs
- Build a solid understanding ofenergy efficiency, demand response, and grid modernizationprograms.
- Support state and utility energy and climate goals by helping customers use our solutions effectively.
- Provide guidance on program offerings, customer eligibility, and procedures.
- Participate in joint utility and partner meetings and help align approaches across regions.
What We’re Looking For (Required)
- Bachelor’s degreein Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experienceinstalling, configuring, or supportingsoftware-based or control system products (energy, utilities, building automation, industrial controls, or similar).
- Proven experience working directly withend users and customers.
- Experience contributing toprojects involving complex system integrations(e.g., SCADA, BMS, EMS, data integration platforms).
- Stronganalytical and problem-solvingskills.
- Clear and professionalwritten and verbal communicationskills.
- Demonstrateddata analysisskills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and interpret bothquantitative and qualitativeinformation.
- Strongteamwork and collaborationskills.
- Ability to adapt communication and approach to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travelup to 30–40%as needed.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- 2+ yearsof experience withcontrol systems applications, such as:
- Energy management systems
- Demand response or load management
- Building automation / HVAC controls
- Industrial control or SCADA systems
- 2+ yearsof experience inQA, support, and trainingfor integrated control systems or complex enterprise software.
- Experience withData Analyticsand/orAI/MLapplied to:
- Energy usage, load forecasting, or grid operations
- System performance monitoring and anomaly detection
- Familiarity with:
- Operational data integration platforms and APIs
- Utility programs (demand side management, energy efficiency, demand response)
- Databases, reporting, and data visualization tools.
- Experience working onremote teamsand supportingdistributed customers.
