Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deploy cloud-native applications onto Amazon Web Services (AWS); identify requirements, research options, and design solutions for the customer’s Cloud environment.
- Implement cloud solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
- Develop and maintain a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team to integrate cloud-based solutions and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Exhibits exemplary troubleshooting ability and can resolve issues related to complex cloud infrastructure and applications across multiple AWS accounts.
- Able to quickly understand complex cloud native architecture in AWS with minimal assistance.
Required Education/Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data integration.
- Experience in applying and executing Systems Engineering processes and best practices, including architecture design, requirements management, and knowledge management.
- AWS Certified.
- Advanced knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and SQL query optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner
- Active DoD Secret-level security clearance
Preferred Experience:
- Active DoD TS/SCI-level security clearance
- Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer
- Experience supporting INDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations
