Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) company specializing in delivering life- changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator to join our team. As a Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator, you’ll be joining a fast-paced, driven environment that’s helping to make life-changing difference to patients by providing tactical sourcing solutions to ensure study teams have necessary clinical trial supplies delivered on time. Through collaboration, and diversity, of teams the Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator is provided with multiple opportunities to excel and discover where your skills can take you.
Who we’re looking for:
Driven, adaptable, and detail-oriented individuals with industry experience or the desire to learn and grow in the clinical research field. The Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator should be a critical thinker who can analyze and understand complex internal customer requirements and provide support to meet study needs. The ideal candidate is an innovative problem solver motivated to develop a more streamlined approach to sourcing while maintaining quality service.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with regional suppliers and internal stakeholder to provide sourcing solutions for clinical trial supplies.
Verify products and services are obtained at a budgeted price.
Ensure ancillary material and Investigational Product is compliant with local regulation and can be imported and/or exported.
Obtain necessary documentation from suppliers and manufacturers for import and/or export.
Coordinate the return of rental equipment and/or medical devices.
Monitor and action help desk sourcing queue tickets.
Anticipate or recognize the existence of a problem and take ownership of seeing it through to resolution.
Manage quality issues with third party suppliers from risk mitigation to resolution.
Assist internal customers with any sourcing queries and system difficulties.
Additional details:
Ideal candidates have 3-5 years’ experience with procurement and clinical supply & logistics and knowledge of GCP, GDP, GxP.
All candidates should have the ability to prioritize workloads that have tight timelines and extreme urgency with attention to detail and first-time quality.
Graduates educated to BA/BS, Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in biology, pharmacy, or other health related discipline, international trade, business administration or logistics will be considered without prior experience.
