We’re actively seeking a talented Senior New Business Case Manager I for Edward Jones to join our team. This position is remote.

The New Business Case Manager Team is responsible for reviewing new business applications for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance and resolving any problems with application. Reviews submission criteria to accept and approve clean applications and reviews basic underwriting requirements, as defined by age and amount requirement. Follows up for outstanding requirements, responds to inquiries from agents, financial institutions, other home office staff and clients, and makes courtesy calls to provide status updates. The department partners with Financial Professionals and their staff to resolve outstanding requirements that may impact the ability to submit and process applications. Through service excellence (quality and efficiency of processing, meeting service level commitments, and leading positive interactions with clients), these teams play an important role in impacting our clients’ choice to conduct their business through Pacific Life.

Essential Duties and Responsabilities:

  • Review, evaluate and process case work as directed by supervisor according to department procedures.

  • Analyzes case information and identifies appropriate action.

  • Provides and collects information ensuring systems are both updated and noted with the appropriate level of detail.

  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics per department guidelines.

  • Case outreach and follow up activity are timely and professional.

  • Utilize necessary CMD resources and tools to determine regulatory, product and case design requirements.

  • Understands NB and UW terminology (labs, APSs, MVRs, etc.)

  • Become familiar with reasoning for requirements.

  • Establish relationships with underwriting, distribution partners and marketing partners by understanding their needs and communicating timely and effectively with them.

  • Communicates effectively with and/or creates correspondence for producers, field offices and external interested parties as applicable.

  • Sets proper expectations with producers/offices/FVPs.

  • Supports department needs as assigned.

  • Maintains positive and professional interactions with peers, trainers, internal customers, and leaders across all activities; Effectively collaborates to overcome challenges.

  • Demonstrates awareness of the Workday Performance Mgmt. and goal writing process, partners with Supervisor to identify areas of skill building opportunities and develop SMART goal(s) and meets target check-in and self-evaluation dates; Comes prepared for coaching sessions with status of progress; Follows through on action plans.

Qualifications:

  • College degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.

  • A strong desire to deliver a superior customer service experience.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Experience working successfully with a variety of customers, preferably within the financial services industry.

  • Ability to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy, speed, and thoroughness.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$26.31 - $32.15
