Project Manager III (OVA5467)

This is a 12 - month contract with our client in the Financial services sector,

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Strategic Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, and scheduling in direct alignment with business objectives.
• Financial Stewardship: Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of available resources and fiscal accountability.
• Risk & Contingency Management: Proactively identify enterprise-wide risks and develop robust contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
• Execution & Direction: Lead and coordinate the activities of multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation to ensure all project goals are accomplished.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between project teams and executive leadership, providing transparent reporting and strategic updates.
• Process Optimisation: Continuously evaluate project management methodologies to improve efficiency and project delivery standards.

Minimum requirements

• Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related technical field (NQF Level 7).
• Relevant Project Management certification will be advantageous.
• Experience: * Minimum of 5–8 years of direct project management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise-wide projects with budgets
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a corporate or high-growth environment.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or Jira) and financial modeling in Excel.
