This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a technical and partner-focused Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. If you thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative remote environments and enjoy blending technical enablement with sales engineering, this role is for you. You’ll start by managing core partner functions—assisting in pre-sales demos, guiding MSPs through training and onboarding, and supporting the technical implementation of the Island Enterprise Browser and a new GenAI DLP solution.

As you demonstrate your expertise, you’ll take on broader responsibilities in developing enablement playbooks, configuring advanced security policies (like GenAI DLP and Conditional Access), and capturing partner feedback to improve our products and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong communicator with high ownership eager to grow into a well-rounded security professional who combines deep cloud infrastructure knowledge (especially Microsoft Entra ID), partner support, and strategic security insights.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Enablement & Sales Engineering

  • Assist in pre-sales demos and proof-of-concept sessions, demonstrating platform value and technical capabilities.

  • Guide MSP partners through training, onboarding, setup, and configuration of Island Browser within their own and their clients’ environments.

Technical Implementation & Integration

  • Deploy and integrate Island Browser with existing identity, network, and endpoint management systems (Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Okta, Google Workspace (GWS), Intune, etc.).

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across network, identity, SaaS, DLP, ZTNA, SSO, and browser integration layers.

Security Policy & Product Specialization

  • Guide partners through pilots and rollouts of GenAI-aware DLP (policy creation, prompt/response safeguards, analytics), integrating with identity and productivity stacks.

  • Configure identity- and context-based controls (e.g., copy/paste, upload/download, print, screenshots), align with Conditional Access, and set up telemetry integrations.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Create and update training & onboarding documentation, technical guides, and walkthroughs for partners and internal teams.

  • Capture partner feedback to improve demos, playbooks, and docs; share insights with the team to tighten enablement.

Requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud or Systems Engineering, Technical Consulting, or MSP-focused IT support.

  • Strong familiarity with Azure, Google Workspace (GWS), and Active Directory/Entra ID.

  • Experience with Identity Providers (IdPs) & SAML such as Okta, Ping, OneLogin, or similar.

  • Understanding of VDI technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.).

  • Proficiency with networking fundamentals (DNS, SSL, VPNs, ZTNA, proxy configurations).

  • Comfort with endpoint management and policy-based configurations (Intune, GPO, JAMF, etc.).

  • Hands-on with identity-based access (Conditional Access, device posture, SSO/MFA).

  • Experience governing GenAI usage (protecting sensitive data in prompts, auditing usage, tuning allow/warn/block policies).

  • Ability to conduct engaging technical demos and communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities; capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable guidance.

  • High ownership, startup mindset: You like fast learning loops, shifting priorities, and jumping in where needed.

  • Team-first collaborator: We live in Microsoft Teams—constant chat, quick huddles, and frequent screen-shares with partners.

  • Kind, direct communicator who explains complex things simply and assumes positive intent.

  • Strong discretion around sensitive data and privacy when working with partner environments.

  • Flex when it counts: Most days follow normal hours; occasionally we flex together for launches, partner cutovers, or incidents, balanced by real flexibility the rest of the time.

Tools You’ll Use

  • Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Google Workspace, Okta, modern browsers, and common scripting tools (PowerShell/Python).
