We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and help shape the future of OpenProject.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a clear product vision and translate company strategy into a focused roadmap.
• Identify and prioritize the most valuable problems to solve for users and the business.
• Conduct continuous discovery through user research, interviews, rapid prototyping and experimentation in order to lead by evidence.
• Work closely with design, engineering, marketing and sales to ensure a shared understanding of problems and solutions within the whole product lifecycle.
• Ensure that what we deliver delivers meaningful outcomes, not just features.
• Communicate priorities and decisions clearly across stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving how the team works and collaborates by building sustainable habits and systems.

What You'll Bring

• The ability to lead and inspire a product team through clarity of vision, focus, and prioritization.
• Solid experience in user-centric product management for complex digital products.
• The ability to define a product solution that is valuable to users, usable by users, buildable by engineering, and viable from a business perspective.
• Strong skills in defining product direction, prioritizing work, and shaping roadmaps.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints and prioritize accordingly.
• Experience conducting user research and working closely with users to ensure optimal outcomes for user and business alike.
• Experience collaborating within a cross-functional product team (engineering, design, QA, marketing, sales) to get things done.
• Pragmatic mindset with a habit of iterative improvement while maintaining focus on what matters most.
• Strong communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus and helps align stakeholders.
• Open-minded and supportive team player who communicates proactively and contributes to a positive team culture.
