SENIOR CPM SOFTWARE INSTRUCTOR (EMEA)

ABOUT THE JOB

OneStream’s Senior Software Instructors must be confident working with a technical and non-technical audience comprised of varying learning styles, languages, and cultures. The Sr. Software Instructor is an experienced CPM/EPM professional implementor with a minimum of 2 years training experience. This position is responsible for keeping course content up to date while providing feedback on enhancing content to the relevant teams.

This position is instrumental in educating our Partners, Customers, and internal teams as well as testing, coaching, and auditing other trainers and authorized partners. OneStream’s Senior Software Instructors are proactive, self-learning, and ambitious to continuously stay informed on new software features, implementation practices, and the product roadmap. The candidate should have experience in workshop facilitation to ensure learners gain knowledge of the software and advanced functionalities. In addition, this person should keep up to date on the latest teaching methodologies and industry best practices in education

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train customers, partners, and employees on how to use the software while understanding the needs of each attendee type.
• Conduct Audits and Quality Control.
• Update existing content for new software features.
• Facilitate hands-on Onboarding workshops for customers and partners.
• Assist with generating new content and classes based on the needs of the training audience.
• Gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of OneStream and MarketPlace Solutions.
• Proactively reach out to additional departments (Services, Engineering, QA, Product Management) to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the product and new features.
• Deliver workshops at the annual user conference.
• Coach new software instructors by designing an upskilling program tailored to the individual.
• Design and deliver customized training programs for the delivery team.
• Identify and translate student and client needs into concrete training adjustments to existing and new courses.
• Contribute monthly to OneCommunity by staying active in the forums and creating blog posts.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Education, Learning and Development, or relevant experience in a similar field.
• 3-5 years of CPM/EPM experience with any of the following products:
  • OneStream Software
  • FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream
  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Hyperion Planning
  • Hyperion Essbase
  • SAP Outlooksoft BPC
  • SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
  • IBM Cognos
  • Or other EPM solutions.
• 2 years of technical software facilitation and presentation skills.
• Accounting and Finance industry experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Fluent in English; secondary European language would be an advantage.

• Technical Content Creation.
• NET, SQL, C# development experience.

• Demonstrate differing teaching methodologies based on class, students, and environment.

TRAVEL

• Regular travel is not expected for this position.
