🧭 Navigating the position: React Frontend Developer
As a React Frontend Developer you will be responsible for building and enhancing our flagship web applications that serve the maritime industry. Working closely with our cross-functional team of designers, backend developers, and product managers, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and functionality of our platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong foundation in frontend development and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js
· Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing UI/UX designs
· Integrate frontend code with backend APIs to deliver seamless user experiences
· Work closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications
· Optimise application performance for speed and scalability
· Write clean, well-documented source code and uild reusable components for future use
· Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and best practices
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working as a frontend developer, with a strong focus on React.js
- Experience with TypeScript and its application in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Familiarity with GraphQL and its implementation in frontend applications
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
- Passion for the maritime industry or willingness to learn about it
