We are looking for a Data Analyst with deep experience translating business requirements into technical data specifications, manipulating large datasets, and supporting various data initiatives for our client. Our Data Analysts will help design and support a set of data services and capabilities for our client's customers. They will work directly with the client's business partners and their Data Engineering and Analytics team to understand the business meaning of data, and provide analysis and requirements so that data design is fully understood and the data service initiatives are in line with the intended design and standards. 

About You: 

You are a data person with solid hands-on technical skills and great attention to detail. You enjoy taking data and turning it into a solution. You are a troubleshooter and passionate about what you do.

What you'll do:

  • Client leadership & project delivery: Independently engage with client management, lead project meetings to align on scope/timelines, provide analytical support across the portfolio, and ensure smooth, timely delivery; perform additional duties as needed.

  • Modeling, experimentation & optimization: Design and deploy analytical models (forecasting, classification/regression, segmentation), run controlled A/B tests and causal analyses, and build optimization solutions (linear/mixed-integer, constrained/multi-objective); ensure rigorous validation with clear diagnostics, monitoring, and comprehensive documentation.

  • Analysis & storytelling: Execute advanced data analyses with appropriate tools; interpret results and present clear insights to internal and external stakeholders; prepare executive-ready reports and presentations.

  • Requirements & business rules: Partner with business and engineering to elicit data requirements and priorities; recommend/document business rules; translate requirements into IT specifications and end-user documentation.

  • Data integration & quality: Integrate data from diverse sources/platforms; monitor data flows; develop/enhance data-quality reports; perform root-cause analysis; test database changes prior to implementation.

  • Metrics & communication: Plan and develop new metric reports that drive business value; communicate effectively with business and technical leads and respond appropriately to sensitive inquiries.

What you'll need:

  • Experience: 5–7+ years of hands-on analytics including predictive modeling, experimentation (A/B testing), and optimization; 3–5 years presenting analyses to management and partnering with business and technical stakeholders; proven leadership of multi-member client projects; expertise in experimental design and model diagnostics/monitoring with clear, reproducible documentation.

  • Technical (required): Advanced SQL and Python; ability to query, manipulate, and interpret data from databases/data warehouses; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Technical (preferred): Demonstrated proficiency with SAS and R; familiarity with automotive/VIN data; comfort with large/complex data structures; understanding of MDM concepts.

  • Data quality & problem solving: Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving data issues across multiple platforms.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills; able to communicate effectively with business & technical leads and handle sensitive inquiries.

  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Research, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
