We are looking for a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Support team at ODILO. This role is at the intersection of technical support and engineering, working closely with our backend development teams to investigate complex incidents in production, identify their root cause, and collaborate on the implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- Technical Background: Previous experience as a developer (Junior/Mid) or in an advanced technical support role (N2/N3) interacting directly with code and investigating problems in Java applications v8 and later.
- Reading and Debugging Code: Ability to read and understand code in backend services (primarily Java) and analyze integrations or components in other languages in the stack when necessary.
- Databases: Mastery of SQL (Oracle) for performing diagnostic queries, data crossing, and controlled updates.
- API and Web Ecosystem: Solid understanding of web integration analysis and APIs (advanced use of Postman, DevTools, Swagger).
- Service-Oriented Mindset: Understand that behind every bug there is a client waiting, balancing technical curiosity with the urgency to meet SLAs.
- Analytical Capacity and Structured Thinking: Able to investigate complex technical problems, formulate fundamental diagnoses, and defend conclusions in technical discussions with development teams.
- Clear and Professional Communication: Adapt the technical level according to the interlocutor and maintain effective and transparent communication with clients and internal teams.
- Minimum B2 English proficiency, with solid professional proficiency.
