We are currently seeking a Information Security Specialist - Intermediate to join our team in Fort Knox (REMOTE), Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
Position's General Duties and Tasks
In the role of Information Security Specialist you will use current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets IAW established standards and procedures. You will develop and maintain knowledgebase on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards, and ensure compliance throughout organization. You will support the following functional areas: Liaison Support; Cyber Readiness & Operations; and Access Control & Training Management. You will assist in the provision of Cybersecurity surge support in the event of real world or additional requirements in support of RMF compliance checks and documentation review across authorization boundaries, including, but not limited to:
o Perform security review preparation for all security controls associated with RMF applicable to an assigned authorization boundary based upon the Confidentiality, Integrity, or Availability designation.
o Perform on site or off-site reviews of all information systems to audit and validate compliance with associated security controls.
o Perform as reviewers of audit teams during inspections, assessments, evaluations, audits, etc.
o Provide reports to the assigned Government representative as required.
o Provide reviews, validation, and deliverable efforts in support of compliance or non-compliance IAW CCI, STIGs and SRGs for each finding or vulnerability IAW RMF.
o Provide embedded Cybersecurity support across Customer or other supported organizations as required.
You will also provide Liaison Support for data center hosting for off-premises Customers. You will provide assigned Cybersecurity onboarding support tasks during hosting of new customer’s equipment and/or software and provides recommendations and support internal and external coordination for customer requirements that require utilization and support from additional DoD and U.S. Army agencies (RMF Boundary implications, compliance validation and scanning, incident response, account management).
In the area of Cyber Readiness & Operations you will provide support in processing, executing, delivering, and tracking cybersecurity related tasks which are assigned through internal and external entities requiring Contractor support. You will track dates, deliverables, artifacts, and reports as required to ensure suspense dates are coordinated with owners and are not missed.
Access Control & Training Management you will process account requests for all arriving individuals, assists in creating and managing enterprise email accounts, validates training requirements for users outlined IAW regulations and directives and provide account request forms to Government employees for signature by IAO. You will serve as primary North Atlantic Southeast (NASE) ISSO, processes all Privileged Access Account requests ensuring users meet required training and Computing Environments (CE) and security requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
- BA/BS degree
- Education Equivalency: Associates degree with 7 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance prior to start.
- Security+ CE
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience with DoD cybersecurity processes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in achieving excellent quality assurance goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting material to senior executive personnel
- Ability to organize, direct, and manage operation support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related projects and / or tasks.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $63,216 - Max: $131,700]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
