About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes to ensure smooth software delivery and system reliability. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to enhance our DevOps culture and practices.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are integrated into DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Maintain and improve observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Support incident response and post-mortem analysis to enhance system resilience.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms (experience in Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Pulumi or Ansible.
• Proficiency with configuration monitoring and administration tools such as Inspector and Systems Manager
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Solid knowledge in database administration (such as Postgres and MongoDB)
• Experience with DNS and email standards such as SPF and DKIM.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and network security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, or Consul).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or DevOps-related fields.
• Experience supporting Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) compliance initiatives within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
