This is a W2-hourly contract opportunity ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic client environments and enjoy solving complex challenges in the healthcare domain. Some roles may require up to 25% travel, unless otherwise specified.

You will work closely with IT leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders across hospitals, health systems, and payer organizations to plan, design, implement, and optimize cloud-based platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for cloud strategy, architecture, migration, and optimization initiatives.
  • Lead and execute cloud assessments, migrations, and infrastructure modernization projects for healthcare clients.
  • Design secure, compliant, and scalable solutions leveraging public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Build automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing systems such as EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner), data platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Support cloud governance, cost optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop clear technical documentation and present cloud solutions and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide post-implementation support and training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud consulting, architecture, or engineering roles.
  • Proven experience working with healthcare clients or in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Expertise in one or more major cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with cloud migrations, hybrid cloud environments, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, networking, and compliance frameworks.
