Middleweight Digital Designer

We are on the hunt for a highly talented, forward thinking and experienced Middlweight Designer to join our Total Platform Design team!

Total Platform at NEXT is an exciting new business-to-business online service that offers brands a full solution for eCommerce, including website, warehousing, logistics, customer care, marketing and customer data management. We let brands focus on their product and creative, and we drive their new online business forward including innovations, sales, operations and technology developments.

As a Middleweight Digital Designer, you’ll be focused on creating and implementing digital ready designs for all onsite touch points. Whilst enhancing the Total Platform brands through well considered, exceptional designs, you’ll be responsible for creating content across the digital portfolio including landing pages, emails, onsite graphics and collaborating on overall brand campaigns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer from an in house or design agency background who is looking for a new challenge.

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely.

About the Role

• Be able to take briefs from concept to creation.
• Create and build Landing Pages, Homepages, Emails, Banners & Editorial content.
• Use your design skills to create digital ready assets for onsite graphics across the Total Platform client base.
• Help implement brand guidelines, styles and layouts, while working to specified deadlines.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as design leads across the Online Department.
• Working closely with the commercial team to ensure your designs help drive online sales.
• We have a large team of experienced designers so sharing and collaborating is essential to a successful outcome.

About you - Software / Skills

• Have Digital Design experience in a similar environment
• Strong idea generation skills
• HTML/CSS coding knowledge would be beneficial
• Proactive approach to tasks with a positive outlook
• Someone who can create original ideas and concepts
• Some experience of Figma
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Working experience of a CMS beneficial (Training would be given)
• Be comfortable presenting to key stakeholders in the business so having excellent communication skills is a must.
• Comfortable managing own workload and working to tight deadlines
• A strong portfolio of existing creative work
