Over a decade in the making, the Network Optix Enterprise Video Operating System helps innovative organizations rapidly and affordably build world-class, custom-tailored, enterprise-scale video products and solutions.

Nx is headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, with additional locations in Burbank, California, Portland, Oregon, Belgrade, Serbia, Taipei, Taiwan, and regional teams distributed across the globe. Recognized on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list for 9 years running, we are committed to expanding our teams cross-functionally and globally.

Network Optix aims to power the world’s most intelligent video solutions, with the ultimate goal of carving a path toward revolutionizing the landscape of video technology and transforming how we perceive the world around us.

Presales Solutions Specialist serves as a critical bridge between our sales team, prospects, and internal product/development teams. You will leverage your deep technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and industry insight to articulate how our platform and solutions address complex business needs. Presales Solutions Professional helps shape the presales process from qualification, solution design, proof-of-concepts, to final handoff to delivery/implementation teams.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with sales leadership and account executives to understand target customer needs within verticals such as security, transportation, smart factory, smart city, retail, hospitality, education, etc. (all supported by our platform).
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compelling technical and business-value presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts of the Nx solutions.
  • Architect tailored end-to-end solutions: mapping customer requirements to our product capabilities (e.g., device compatibility, analytics/AI modules, cloud/hybrid deployment, storage/retention strategies, integrations).
  • Provide expert product and solution consulting during the RFP / tender process; respond to technical questions, write solution white-papers, and support proposal creation (including sizing, ROI, TCO).
  • Articulate our open-ecosystem capability: APIs, SDKs, integrations (for third-party devices, AI models, storage) and how customers can exploit these capabilities.
  • Conduct technical workshops and discovery sessions with customers, partners and system integrators to validate architecture, performance, scalability and deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid) of Nx EVOS.
  • Act as a product-feedback channel: capture customer/partner technical requirements and relay to management to drive roadmap decisions.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for the sales force, provide training and collateral development (technical briefs, reference architectures, demo scripts).
  • Champion the partner ecosystem: work with channel tech partners to align our solutions, co-sell/co-demo, ensure our message and demos reflect our value proposition.
  • Monitor and articulate market trends, competitive positioning, and evolving customer requirements in video, AI, analytics, and IoT integrations.

What we're looking for:

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in presales/solutions engineering or technical consulting roles, ideally in video surveillance, security, IoT, AI/analytics, or large-scale enterprise software.
  • Experience in creating complex proof of concepts and presentations relevant to the surveillance industry

Technical skills knowledge

  • Strong solution-design skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and value-based proposals.
  • Knowledge in:
    • Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls)
    • Servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms
    • Operating system configuration (Windows, Linux)
  • Understanding of video management systems (VMS), IP cameras, video storage
  • Understanding of the system integrator, channel partner ecosystems and co-selling models.
  • Business acumen: able to discuss ROI, TCO, and business outcomes of technology solutions.
  • Comfort with installing software, configuring systems, and performing live demonstrations.

Personality

  • Self-starter, independent, dependable; strong ability to learn quickly.
  • Enjoys troubleshooting, experimenting, and building things.
  • Open to following defined demo/technical processes and adopting company best practices.
  • Clear communicator who can engage confidently with customers and sales partners.
  • Team-oriented — works closely with regional sales and the central presales team.

Languages

  • Native or strong Spanish (required).
  • English proficiency for internal communication (B1–B2).

Education

  • A degree/certification in IT is desirable but not required
  • Surveillance specific certification desirable (e.g., VMS systems, cameras, cloud services, SaaS platforms)

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible working hours
  • Remote work from Mexico, Mexico city
  • Regional travel within Spanish-speaking LATAM (events, customer visits).
  • Working with top industry experts in our international team
