About this Position
The Senior Manager, Inside Sales – Installed Base & Client Conversion is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Executives focused on growing revenue within an existing client base and converting organizations already using the software products we represent into active service clients. This leadership role balances strategic planning with hands-on coaching and execution, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets, maintains a healthy pipeline, and delivers an exceptional client experience.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Hire, onboard, and mentor Inside Sales Executives to achieve high levels of performance and engagement
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and execution
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies for upsell, cross-sell, and product-based client conversion
- Align team activity to overall company revenue goals and client experience initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to support campaign and conversion efforts
Performance Management
- Monitor team KPIs and sales metrics to ensure quota attainment across the team
- Use CRM and reporting tools to manage forecast accuracy, pipeline coverage, and activity metrics
- Implement improvement plans when performance gaps are identified
Client Conversion Oversight
- Guide team efforts to research and engage organizations using products we represent but not our services
- Track conversion efforts and measure success rates and pipeline contribution from these accounts
Process Optimization & CRM Hygiene
- Ensure sales processes are consistently followed and refined for efficiency and effectiveness
- Drive best practices in CRM usage, forecasting, and reporting
- Maintain high standards for data quality and opportunity management
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with leadership in Customer Success, Marketing, and Professional Services to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Participate in strategic planning and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for top accounts
Tools & Systems Used
- CRM (e.g., Dynamics CRM)
- Sales Enablement Platforms (e.g., Seismic)
- Forecasting Tools & Dashboards
- Communication & Demo Tools (e.g., Teams)
- AI Tools (e.g., Microsoft Co-Pilot)
Job Requirements
- 5–8 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a management or team lead role
- Proven success managing inside sales teams focused on existing accounts or customer expansion
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and SaaS or enterprise software environments
- Experience with client conversion or channel sales preferred
- Proficiency with CRM and sales productivity tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $125,000 to $150,000.
This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
