The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its MediaWiki Platform team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining critical parts of MediaWiki, driving technical quality, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate has extensive backend software engineering experience, proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, and a commitment to the foundation's mission. This is a fully remote role, and candidates need to have overlapping working hours with UTC-2 to UTC+3 time zones.
