We are looking for: Enterprise Data Architect
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint, including data models, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Align data architecture with business strategy by collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders.
- Design and oversee scalable data solutions across transactional, analytical, and streaming environments.
- Establish standardized data integration and interoperability patterns across platforms.
- Lead data platform modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and migration.
- Define and enforce data governance, data quality, metadata management, and MDM frameworks.
- Provide architectural guidance, reviews, and mentoring to architects, data engineers, and delivery teams.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred; Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL data systems.
- Experience with data governance and catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience in regulated industries (Pharma, Finance, Healthcare).
- Knowledge of data standardization, master and reference data, data quality, semantic interoperability, and persistent identifiers.
- Experience with tools such as Reltio, Semaphore, Metaphacts, Accurids, Experian Aperture.
- Certifications in Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Platforms, or Data Management.
- Understanding of AI/ML data requirements and data product design concepts.
