Job Title: Senior AEM Engineer – Adobe Experience Manager
Location: 100% Remote, Canada
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Rate: $75 to $85 CAD PH
Role Summary: NearSource is seeking a Senior AEM Engineer to lead enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager initiatives within a large-scale digital ecosystem. This role will drive AEM cloud development, architect integration solutions, and ensure platform scalability, performance, and reliability for a Fortune 500 product company. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in AEM, strong DevOps collaboration experience, and a proven ability to deliver complex CMS implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AEM cloud infrastructure development, including custom components, templates, and workflow implementation
- Architect scalable Adobe Experience Manager solutions aligned with enterprise standards
- Design and execute system integrations across multiple platforms and services
- Manage parallel development workstreams while ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines
- Collaborate with DevOps and build teams to enforce CI/CD best practices and infrastructure automation
- Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and reliability enhancements
- Contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale web CMS implementations
- Participate actively in requirements analysis, solution design, and Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Conduct technical design discussions and guide teams through prototyping and implementation
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex code-level issues across environments
Must-Have Skills
- 8 to 12 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging large-scale software systems
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Strong expertise in HTL and Sling Model development
- Proven experience serving as a technical expert on enterprise development projects
- Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle in Agile environments
- Strong ability to write technical specifications from conceptual designs and business requirements
- Experience supporting, maintaining, and documenting software functionality
- Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving code-level defects
- Experience conducting software design meetings and collaborating with business stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with AEM as a Cloud Service
- Familiarity with DevOps automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Exposure to cloud platforms supporting enterprise CMS environments
- Experience optimizing enterprise content delivery performance
