Job Title: Principal Program Manager – Network, Cloud & Infrastructure
Location: 100% Remote, Canada

Rate: $72 to $75 CAD PH
Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Principal Program Manager to lead the Network, Cloud, and Infrastructure portfolio spanning Network, Hosting, Storage, and related platform domains. This role owns integrated quarterly planning, execution governance, and capacity management across distributed engineering teams, while delivering clear, executive-level visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the annual roadmap and quarterly execution plan across strategic initiatives, infrastructure refresh programs, and operational commitments.
- Drive integrated planning across Cloud and Data Center Network, Campus Network, Hosting, Storage, Backup, and DevOps Network domains.
- Establish and maintain capacity planning models comparing demand versus available delivery capacity, identifying gaps and driving mitigation strategies through sequencing, resourcing, or scope trade-offs.
- Lead end-to-end program execution, including milestone tracking, dependency management, RAID ownership, and cross-team coordination.
- Drive delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs, including:
- Cloud Network Optimization initiatives, including CloudWAN rollouts, network consolidations, and cost optimization efforts
- Infrastructure Hosting Strategy programs supporting migrations and exits aligned with finance and leadership commitments
- Network Observability and Reliability initiatives delivering network health, SLA, and availability dashboards
- Identity-Based Network Access programs, including certificate-based and passwordless wireless access and IoT enablement
- IPv6 scaling initiatives supporting global regional expansion
- Campus Wireless Modernization programs, including WiFi 7, guest WiFi, and campus technology refresh rollouts
- Cloud Edge rollout programs supporting distributed infrastructure expansion
- Establish a consistent operating rhythm through weekly delivery reviews and monthly portfolio reviews.
- Publish executive-ready dashboards, status updates, and leadership communications with clear insights into delivery health, risks, and dependencies.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of program management experience within infrastructure, network, cloud, or platform engineering environments
- Proven experience leading large, multi-team program portfolios with complex dependencies and constrained delivery capacity
- Strong expertise in roadmap planning, execution governance, and cross-functional coordination
- Advanced analytical and communication skills with the ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for program tracking and documentation
- Experience in building and maintaining executive reporting using dashboard and analytics tools
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or Airtable for portfolio and leadership reporting
- Exposure to large-scale cloud networking, hosting, or enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Background supporting infrastructure programs aligned with financial planning and cost optimization goals
