We are National Veterinary Associates (NVA), a community deeply rooted in our love for animals and the dedicated people who care for them. Our journey began in 1996, founded by a veterinarian, Dr. Stanley Creighton, with a clear vision: to support local veterinary practices and empower them to deliver the highest quality medical care. For over 25 years, we've been building a global family of general practice, emergency, equine, and specialty veterinary hospitals, as well as pet resorts. Our core belief is that medicine is best practiced at the local level, where veterinarians can tailor their services to the specific needs of their communities. We champion this vision by providing our partner hospitals with robust support in areas like recruitment, IT, marketing, finance, and human resources, allowing them to focus on what they do best – caring for pets.

Our mission is to improve the comfort and well-being of pets by fostering an environment of progressive and compassionate care. We achieve this by creating a collaborative network where knowledge and best practices are shared across our individual hospitals and pet resorts, promoting sustainable growth and innovation. We understand that each practice has its own unique culture and identity, and we're committed to preserving that individuality while offering the resources and expertise of a larger organization. Whether it's through providing access to a national medical database, offering training and education for staff, or supporting emerging research, we strive to help our hospitals achieve their individual medical goals. We are more than just a business; we are a collective of animal lovers, united by an abiding admiration for the veterinary teams who dedicate their lives to animal health. Our commitment extends to advancing the veterinary profession as a whole, ensuring that pets receive exceptional care for years to come. Recently, NVA formed two distinct businesses, with Ethos Veterinary Health focusing on specialty and emergency hospitals, while NVA continues to oversee general practice veterinary hospitals, equine hospitals, and pet resorts, ensuring broad access to high-quality care for all pet owners.
