Product, Project Manager

Essential Functions

The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties assigned, including working in other functional areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

  • Develop, maintain and update Krausz product roadmap, idea bank and innovation plan, to support annual corporate strategy, maximizing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction
  • Full ownership on Krausz current products – review sales, maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • To be the ultimate source of technical support for Krausz products.
  • Responsibility for preparation and implementing marketing materials such as product catalog, price list, etc.
  • Ownership for implementing relevant NA regulations
  • Full ownership on Krausz new product development from ideation to full execution of mass production.
  • Project management – required to manage new product project execution through phase gate process
  • End of life of un-profitable products
  • Analyze competitors including product offerings, financial performance, and market share gains/losses
  • Maintain and develop MRD’s for Hymax products
  • Manage and communicate technical sales information and product changes both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for customer complaints
  • Provides direction for development, product changes and product promotions, including development feasibility, specifying components, packaging, pricing, catalog and sell sheet copy, training aides & new product stock availability.
  • Manage and communicate technical sales information and product changes both internally and externally.
  • Relative to the water distribution repair market, perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs.
  • Participates in creating, maintaining and updating annual forecasts.
  • Develops and maintains product database with product specifications.
  • Reviews compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Leads review to determine commercial viability of products, resource requirements and potential risks.
  • Trade shows including KTAB (Krausz Technical advisory Board) – preparation and presenting
  • VOC – customers visit – utility, distribution and engineering firm for improving Hymax product portfolio and keep leading the market with innovation
  • Coordinates all product development initiatives from start to finish with internal and external suppliers and vendors.
  • Creates project structure including project plan, timeline, team responsibilities and status reporting.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with various teams regarding new products
  • Develops strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Oversees business requirements gathering and analysis and ensures issues are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Manages value stream CER/ECO process
  • Assess market competition for comparable products

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Over 8 years of experience in Product management

Preferred:

  • Experience in water utilities.
  • PMP, PMI, IPMA or other certification supporting Project Management functions.

Work Environment

Must be willing to travel to other locations within and outside of the US.
