Role Overview
The Data Project Coordinator is a key member of the Data Migration Team within the Highlander Programme. This role plays a critical part in the successful global deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) across multiple legal entities. You will manage and coordinate the complexities of multiple data migration cycles, ensuring smooth execution, clear communication, and alignment across functional and technical teams.
This is a high-visibility role that requires strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate data team activities using Azure DevOps, ensuring tasks, workflows, and dependencies are effectively managed and updated.
- Work closely with the Data Migration Lead to measure, monitor, and manage the full data migration lifecycle, covering ETL1 through ETL4.
- Support the creation of reporting packs and dashboards that track data migration progress across all legal entities within the Highlander Programme.
- Play a critical role during cut‑over, ensuring data migration tasks are executed accurately and in line with programme timelines.
- Assist with data discovery, mapping, and validation sessions, partnering with business knowledge owners, finance stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Support financial data validation and reconciliation between technical data migration teams and finance representatives across the organisation.
- Prepare and maintain sign‑off documentation required for internal and external audit purposes, ensuring compliance and traceability.
- Collaborate with global markets to resolve legacy and current data issues, safeguarding data integrity, completeness, and auditability.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering data migrations within ERP implementation programmes, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Proficient in D365 F&O, D365 HR, AX 2012, SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong capability in data analysis, data cleansing, data profiling, data validation, and data reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop extraction and transformation SQL stored procedures and produce audit‑ready sign‑off documentation.
- Proven experience in defining and delivering data migration strategies, plans, and frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience managing large‑scale data migrations, including full market migrations, legal entity mergers, and partial mergers.
- Experience establishing and leading data migration teams, including strategy development and capability building.
- Ability to work effectively in highly complex, dynamic environments and meet demanding deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner closely with business teams to resolve data issues and ensure data quality.
- Strong team leadership experience, with a track record of building, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power BI.
