We’relooking for a strategic and entrepreneurial team member toownMonotype’sPremiertypedesign partner (akafoundries)relationships.This is a unique opportunity tocultivate high-value foundryrelationshipsandinfluence our global inventory strategy from the ground up.

In this role,you’llbe responsible forretainingand nurturing long term relationships withpremierandstrategicfoundry partners.You'llact as both a trusted advocate for our partners and an internal voice forglobalfoundryneeds,delivering actionable feedback to product, content, and experience teams to ensurewe’rebuilding solutions that fit theneeds of the global market.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Relationship Management 

• Buildandretainlong-term relationships withpremier & strategicfoundries, becoming their primary point of contactandconnecting them withtheir network ofsupporting functions at Monotype. 

• Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, licensing alignment, andoptimalmerchandising. 

• Gather feedback to continuously improve thepartnerexperience, advocate for tooling or content needs, andidentifyblockers to scale. 

• Measure and report out partner success,opportunities, and KPIs to leadership.

Strategic Contribution 

• Work cross-functionally with globalExperience, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to improvethe foundry experienceand drive mutual value. 

• Travelglobally(primarilyin EMEA)to meet directly with partners to strengthen relationships and represent Monotype at relevant industry events and in professional communities.

• Become a SME in Monotype’s business goals, strategy, and other key themes to be able to have strategic conversations with partners. Connect our partners with other SMEs in specific areas like Royalites, Legal, and Product for further support.

Whatwe’relooking for:

• Highly organized and detail-orientedwith experience using and improving CRM systems to track partner relationships and opportunities

• 5-10Proven years of experiencein partnershipsorbusiness development,preferably within design, media, or IP-driven industries. 

• Strong empathy for and enjoyment working with people in creative industries.Your enthusiasm is contagious and our partners love talking with you.

• Strong negotiation skills and proven success in closing high-value or strategic deals.

• Comfortableoperatingindependently, with strong initiative and strategic thinking. 

• Willingness to learn a new industryandtheexperience to know when to betheSME and when to bring in a SME.

• Interest increativefieldssuch as art,typeand design.

• Fluency in anadditionallanguage such as French or German isadvantageous
