Senior/Staff Front End Developer - High-Volume Crypto Trading Platform
Location: Remote - US or Europe (Preference for US based candidates)
Compensation: $200K - $300K
We lead the way in cryptocurrency trading, operating the largest Telegram trading bot, facilitating over $25 billion in volume for more than 50,000 daily active users. We deliver seamless on-chain trading experiences with advanced tools like DCA, limit orders, sniping, and automatic wallet copy-trading. We are expanding our influence with a new product, the Trojan Trading Terminal, designed for the web. We are looking for a highly autonomous and driven Senior/Staff Front End Developer to drive the creation of this high-performance web app.
As a Senior/Staff Front End Developer, you will be a key, highly autonomous contributor responsible for translating our robust, high-speed trading capabilities to a new web application. You will collaborate closely with a Senior Full-Stack Developer to ensure the web experience matches our hallmark speed and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Maintain: Develop and maintain a responsive and user-centric web application using React/NextJS and TypeScript.
- Optimize for Speed: Implement best practices and optimizations to maintain the app's exceptionally fast and responsive performance, especially on mobile devices.
- Real-Time Features: Support the integration and management of real-time data and WebSockets to enhance user interactions for trading functionalities.
- Collaborate and Integrate: Work closely with the Senior Full-Stack Developer to ensure seamless front-end and back-end integration.
- Problem-Solve with Impact: Tackle complex technical challenges with effective, innovative solutions that significantly enhance user experience.
- Champion Code Quality: Ensure the delivery of clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, fostering a sustainable development environment.
Requirements
- Experience:5+ years in front-end development with significant experience in React/NextJS and TypeScript.
- Domain Expertise:Must have experience building out the frontend of a trading platform or exchange.
- Leadership Insight: Previous experience as a key decision-maker on a frontend team, contributing to critical platform components (e.g., tech stack and design decisions).
- Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks and push projects forward.
- Technical Excellence:
- Expertise in creating fast, dynamic, and optimized web interfaces.
- Comfort with real-time data handling and WebSocket management.
- Innovative Thinking: Adept at identifying potential challenges or improvements and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Interest in DeFi: A genuine curiosity and understanding of cryptocurrency and trading trends.
Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience working with trading platforms, DeFi, or similar technology.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and collaborative development tools.
- Knowledge of, and experience building on, the Solana ecosystem.
