About Mindrift
Mindrift platform collaborates with leading AI companies developing some of the world’s most advanced and groundbreaking models. We connect domain experts with projects that push the boundaries of what AI can learn, understand, and create.
About the project
We are seeking experienced engineers (Mechanical, or Automotive) to create computationally intensive engineering problems for an advanced AI evaluation project. Your work will help train models to handle complex, multi-step challenges that mirror real-world research and analytical workflows. This is a project-based freelance opportunity.
What you'll do
- Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
- Create problems requiring Python programming to solve engineering calculations and simulations.
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require numerical methods or iterative solutions.
- Develop problems involving system design, optimization, and analysis.
- Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from engineering practice.
- Verify solutions using Python with standard engineering libraries.
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
Problem domains (Examples)
- Automotive Engineering: Vehicle dynamics, internal combustion engines, powertrain design, aerodynamics, thermal management, structural integrity, control and safety systems, fuel efficiency optimization.
- Mechanical Engineering: Structural analysis, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, dynamics and vibrations, finite element analysis.
- Electrical Engineering: Circuit analysis, signal processing, control systems, power systems, electromagnetic field calculations.
- Chemical Engineering: Reaction kinetics, process optimization, mass and energy balances, thermodynamic calculations.
- Civil Engineering: Structural mechanics, load analysis, material optimization, hydraulics.
- Systems Engineering: Optimization problems, reliability analysis, system modeling.
- Control Theory: Controller design, stability analysis, state-space calculations.
- Materials Engineering: Property calculations, phase diagrams, material selection optimization.
