MileIQ is seeking a talented and motivated iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an iOS Engineer at MileIQ, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our iOS applications, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend engineers, to design and deliver high-quality iOS applications.
Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable iOS code.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously explore and implement new technologies to enhance the overall user experience.
Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to iOS development.
Requirements
Ideal- Has 5+ years of experience with iOS with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Migrate more of the code from ObjectiveC to Swift. Current app is 50% Objective-C, 50% Swift
- Solid understanding of architecture components and best practices (MVC, MVVM, POP, VIPER, etc).
- Provide full lifecycle ownership over the app, from feature scoping to periodic on-call production support
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with mobile app security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with at least one of the main iOS frameworks like CoreLocation, CoreData, CoreBluetooth or CoreMotion.
- Experience with SDLC - collaborative design to delivery tools (Figma, Jira, Confluence, etc).
- Unit testing experience in Swift and Objective-C.
Preferred
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise) and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Previous experience in location-based apps (background location monitoring, geofences).
- Experience with device sensors data (motion and position data, activity recognition).
- Working knowledge of the Google Maps APIs.
- Experience with machine learning, CoreML, CreateML.
- Experience with SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with web services, API development or database development.
