Job Summary:
The IT Risk Consulting Manager will play a critical role in managing and overseeing IT risk consulting engagements. This position involves leading teams, developing risk management strategies, and providing expert advice to clients on IT risk-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT risk management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT risk consulting and SOX ITGC engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement IT risk management strategies and frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on IT risk mitigation and management.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT risk, specific client industries, and cybersecurity.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare and present reports and findings to clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT risk management, consulting, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in IT general controls, IT auditing, or related roles is a plus.
- Experience with SOX compliance and control testing is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Working Conditions:
- Heavy sitting for extended periods in front of a computer
- Overnight travel may be necessary

- Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000
