In 2020, ConsenSys spun out several of its infrastructure projects into a separate company, Consensys Software Inc., while ConsenSys rebranded as Consensys Mesh to continue focusing on championing projects that further our industry. Our core components include investment, incubation, research & development, and acceleration, all dedicated to empowering bold founders and building an interconnected network of innovators.

Consensys Mesh operates as an accelerator, incubator, investor, and enabler of web3 technology, supporting and nurturing startups and entrepreneurs working on innovative projects. We have a vast portfolio of over 190 equity and token positions and run the Tachyon startup accelerator, which has guided nearly one hundred companies in raising funds and launching since its inception in 2017. Our Applied R&D team makes meaningful contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem and has successfully incubated companies such as Gitcoin, Decrypt, Treum, MetaMask, and Gnosis.
