We are Momentis Surgical™, a medical device company passionately dedicated to transforming the field of robotic surgery. Our journey began as Memic Innovative Surgery in 2013, and since then, we've been driven by a singular vision: to develop innovative, small-footprint, and cost-effective robotic-assisted technologies and techniques. Our goal is to empower surgeons, enabling them to perform minimally invasive, complex procedures with enhanced precision and control. We believe that by doing so, we can significantly improve patient outcomes, lower the overall cost of care, and, crucially, expand access to the benefits of robotic surgery to more surgeons, patients, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers across the globe.

Our flagship innovation is the Anovo™ Surgical System (formerly known as the Hominis® Surgical System). This is the first and only FDA-authorized surgical robotic platform that features miniature humanoid-shaped arms. These arms are designed with shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints, providing human-level dexterity, multi-planar flexibility, and 360-degree articulation. This biomimetic design replicates the motions and capabilities of a surgeon's arms, allowing for unprecedented maneuverability and access, particularly in challenging anatomical spaces. Initially, we focused on revolutionizing gynecological surgery, enabling procedures like transvaginal hysterectomies with the potential for less pain, reduced infection rates, faster recovery, and no visible scarring. We are proud that our technology allows surgeons to utilize the transvaginal approach, which was previously unfeasible in many cases. Building on our success in women's health, we are now actively expanding the Anovo™ platform's applications into general surgery, including areas like ventral hernia repair, with the aim of bringing its unique advantages to a broader range of patients and procedures. We are committed to ongoing research and development, continually seeking to enhance our technology and explore new clinical applications to redefine what's possible in surgery.
