Job Description:

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security measures to protect information systems.
• Support the configuration and management of security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software).
• Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, and NIST.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal tools to automate and enhance security operations.
• Write scripts and basic programs to support data analysis, security monitoring, and compliance reporting.
• Document development processes and provide training for team members on new tools and functionalities.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Passionate and interested in Information Technology.
• Familiarity with governance or security standards like COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, and NIST is advantageous.
• Hardworking, highly accountable, and reliable.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Basic understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and incident response.
• Experience with basic programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for tool development.
• Prefer full-time interns for a 3-month duration.

Nice to have:

• Ability to develop automation for day to day work (python or any other scripting language).
